Mrs. Cauwells is the English teacher at QCCS. She attended Northeast Missouri State University (Truman University) in Kirksville, MO. She earned a B.A. in Education, majoring in Speech and English. Her career has spanned 39 years. The first half of her teaching career, she taught at United Township High School and then took a position at Temple Christian Academy. She has completed 3 years of teaching at Quad Cities Christian School.

She is married to John Cauwells and together they have 9 children, and 16 grandchildren. They enjoy farming, camping, gardening, antiquing, and crafts.
